Temporary Working Platforms
Landpac high energy ground improvement technologies are well suited to addressing the specific requirement of improving the load bearing capacity of areas containing relatively poor material to enable the creation of consistent and reliable temporary platforms to support working equipment such as piling rigs, cranes etc. to operate safely within the construction industry regulations.

Accelerated Consolidation
The high energy blows transferred to the material being treated by the Landpac high energy compaction equipment generate shock waves that are capable of significantly increasing the pore water pressure to great depths (up to 20m) within saturated soils. This increased pore water pressure can lead to greatly increased rates of dissipation of water throughout the volume of saturated material provided that suitable drainage paths are available. By repeating a limited number of Landpac high energy compaction coverages at regularly spaced intervals, the pore water pressure is able to be maintained at an elevated level that can ensure a constantly increased rate of water dissipation throughout the material. This in turn leads to a greatly accelerated rate of primary consolidation of saturated soils when compared with the conventional technique of surcharging the area with a large static load.
